mHelpDesk’s Rochelle Sanchirico Announced as Best Tech Manager Finalist for DC’s 2018 Timmy Awards

Tech in Motion announces top local tech managers and opens public voting to determine winners

Washington DC (September 11, 2018) – Tech in Motion DC has selected Rochelle Sanchirico as a finalist for Best Tech Manager category in this year’s fourth Annual Timmy Awards, which recognizes the top workplaces for tech professional in the Washington DC area. Rochelle Sanchirico joins an elite list of this year’s finalists competing to be named Washington DC’s best tech manager. 50% of the award decision is based on public voting. Votes can be submitted here through October 3, 2018.

Sanchirico is being recognized for her success in managing and leading mHelpDesk, a rapidly growing field service management company that is owned by HomeAdvisor, an IAC Company, to growth over the past 3 years. She joined the company as the VP of Product and Marketing and now serves as its Chief Operating Officer. For more than 12 years, she has held product, marketing and strategy leadership positions in the SaaS, media, education and publishing industries. Prior to her work at mHelpDesk, Sanchirico lead teams at Webs (the digital services division of Vistaprint), comScore and The Washington Post.

The Timmy Awards’ Best Tech Manager category recognizes leaders who go above and beyond to empower their team to produce a great product through a clear and communication vision, promote career growth, ensure a great team culture and inspire innovation.

Washington DC’s local community can get involved by voting online now through October 3rd to help determine which manager will be crowned the best in tech. The four award categories include: Best Tech Startup, Best Tech Manager, Best Tech Work Culture and Best Tech Workplace for Diversity.

Washington DC’s 2018 Timmy Awards will be held on October 25th at 1776 DC (1133 15th ST NW) from 6 – 9pm. This free event is open to the public and will consist of tech demos, entertainment and networking. The ceremony will also feature presentations from Washington DC’s top tech leaders.
